Snowshoeing on Mt. Rose

It was another incredible afternoon in the Tahoe Basin today. I decided to go for a little snowshoe adventure up to Mt. Rose. Here is what I brought back...

Jibbin for Jacksons

Allright more action photos. Sorry but this is what I've been shooting lately. I was called upon by Squaw Valley to shoot a contest called "Jibbin for Jacksons" It was a jam format Comp and the riders (Skiers and snowboarders) received $20 everytime they landed a cool trick. Monster sponsored the event and gave away $5000.00 in cash prizes. It was pretty awesome to get asked to shoot such a big event and I can't wait for the next one in late February! Here are my favorite shots.

Matt's 27th Birthday

I kicked off my Birthday celebration this year with breakfast in bed (Thanks to my lovely Heather). The weather was pretty bad so we stayed inside for most of the day and kept it casual. That evening, we had tacos and margaritas for dinner with the roomies. It was a great relaxing birthday and I wish everyone could have been there to spend it with me.

Ok fine, I've only had 10 days to shoot this year but I'm really excited about these shots. Monster Energy is going to be really excited about the last one and most of these shots will be used on Squaw Valley's website.

Heather's Christmas Bird

Heather cooked her first Turkey this Christmas. She used a "Do Nothing" Turkey recipe from our favorite blog, tastewiththeeyes.blogspot.com. It was a fabulous dinner and we were happy to share it with our good friend Cody who stayed with us through the holidays. The picture speaks for itself...
