O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

Tis the season to chop down trees, fa la la la la, la la la la! Earlier today while the men went to buy a saw, Nicole and I took a walk just up the street in search of the perfect tree. No Christmas tree farms here, just our own backyard! As the snow began to fall in light little flurries our search began. After a few "maybes", we came to a clearing in the woods and there she stood...a 15 foot White Fir. Perfection! She now stands tall in our living room at right around 10 feet. Thanks to Joe for putting in all the elbow grease needed to chop and trim the tree down to size! With Christmas music blaring and hot toddies brewing, we decorated and lit our beautiful tree. Speaking of hot toddies, I think mine is getting cold...

  1. I love your tree. What great memories this Christmas will be. So few people can experience cutting their own tree and carrying it into their living room!!! Happy Holidays, will miss you just the same. Mom

  2. How festive!

And how neat that you are living in the mountains, what a great place to enjoy the Christmas holiday. Quite different from the beach, no?
